How we review

Every review follows the same five steps.

1. We read the full label

Every ingredient, the dose, the serving size, and any added sugar or sweeteners.

2. We check the research on each main ingredient

We look for studies in people. When the evidence is weak or missing, we say so.

3. We check third party testing

We note when a product carries a seal like NSF Certified for Sport or USP Verified, and we say when it does not.

4. We compare price per serving

So you can see what you really pay for each dose.

5. We say who should skip it

Not every product fits every person. Each review names who should pass.

Tested or researched

When we have used a product ourselves, the review says so. When a review is based on research only, it says that too.

Medical review

We do not have a medical reviewer yet. Until we do, every health claim in our guides is tied to a source listed at the end of the guide, such as the NIH, the FDA or a peer-reviewed study. When a reviewer joins, we will name them and their credentials here.

Updates

We update a review when the formula, the price or the research changes. Every review shows the date it was last updated.

What we never do

We do not accept payment for a better rating. We do not claim that a supplement treats, cures or prevents any disease.
